Frequently Asked Questions

No, Spin adapts to any chair. It uses an angle anchored to an adjustable universal clamp that we offer in three diameters, but you can find them in all sizes at any hardware store or specialized business.

For anchoring to a barber chair, there is a stand device. It is a structure attached to the base and surrounds the main body of the chair, allowing Spin to be anchored to any type of furniture, regardless of whether the shape is square, rectangular, conical, or any geometry.

This element can also be used to place Spin at the head of an aesthetician’s table or store it during maintenance, as Spin does not stand without any anchorage.

Two basic units are included in the price. You can use them all the time, remove them, or use them occasionally. They are an ideal complement to replace the auxiliary cart and assist your work effectively.

WE RECOMMEND NOT USING THEM UNTIL A WEEK HAS PASSED AND YOU HAVE MASTERED THE MOVEMENTS.

Spin has a patented anti-tip mechanism that prevents you from fully rotating on the axis, preventing you from reaching an unstable area and falling.

You must press the pedal with your left foot, DO NOT STAND ON THE PEDAL. Once pressed, the gas piston is released, and if you assist the upward movement with your right leg, you will rise without any issues.

To lower, simply press the pedal and release your weight to the desired height.

NEVER LEAVE THE SPIN WITH THE SEAT RAISED. ALWAYS LOWER IT TO THE LOWEST POSITION BEFORE EXITING.

Before starting, it is important to adjust the Spin properly. The distance from the chair is achieved with the telescopic bar that connects the Spin to the client's chair.

Loosen a handle you will find under the foot area and move the Spin closer or further away. Ideally, adjust it to just touch the seat in the most forward position, but if your arms are longer, you should adjust it until you have a comfortable position. Remember that the seat moves forward or backward with the body along its guide.

Spin is very durable and does not get hair tangled in the wheels, so maintenance is minimal. It is important to grease the guides under the seat using a little grease or oil when you feel it does not slide comfortably. Remember it should not be too greased to provide some resistance to the adjustment. You can remove excess grease with kitchen paper.

Check that the anchorage with the client's chair has not descended and that the central bellows of the spin is always vertical to the floor; this is the most common adjustment and the main cause of malfunction. If the clamp loosens, the spin slides down and ceases to operate effectively. You must simply level the pin again and tighten the clamp securely.

Wash tubs and trays as needed, and clean the upholstery with a damp cloth at the end of each day.

Ensure the plastic bushing of the main bellows does not come off, as this is another point where Spin can present problems if not monitored. There is a screw holding this piece that can loosen due to friction. If it comes off, it must be repositioned because the piston will no longer function effectively.

In case of any malfunction, Spin has a replacement guarantee. Do not hesitate to contact us.

No, you just need to change its orientation. For a normal hairdressing chair, you should place the adjustment pedal of the chair’s bellows in front and not behind, as usual. You can activate it with your foot by placing the Spin on one side.

There is a video that can help you understand it.

In the case of the barber chair, this pedal can be on one side, and the Spin should be placed just behind it to activate it.

You will surely find the most comfortable way to position your Spin and maintain the adjustment systems of the client chair. Each design is unique, and Spin is versatile enough to adapt to all types of furniture.
